Initial macOS release
The first public release of Vocelle for Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 26. What's in it:
- Hold-to-dictate: hold right-⌘ anywhere, speak, release — cleaned text types itself at your cursor in any app, including terminals, code editors, and browsers.
- Whisper large-v3-turbo transcription, 100% local on the Neural Engine. Audio never leaves the Mac and is never written to disk.
- On-device cleanup with the guardrail: output must retain at least half of the speaker's words, or deterministic cleanup takes over.
- Crash-safe write-ahead log — every dictation is saved before it's processed.
- Live waveform overlay while dictating.
- Searchable dictation history with per-entry delete.
- Personal dictionary, with one-click import from other dictation apps.
- Hands-free mode.
- Fully offline after the one-time model download (~1.6 GB).
